Nikolai's first year - he was rapidly growing up.

In April mother came and stayed for two months. Each Saturday she and Dmitri would make a field trip.

Liza graduated from South Lakes High School with an IB (International Baccalaureat) Diploma and moved to Canada to study at University of Toronto .

In September, Stasia, Dmitri and Kolya with friends, Alexey and Elia Shakula and their son, Matvey, took a week-long vacation at Smith Mountain Lake in Virginia.

Then for Christmas the same group plus Liza took a trip to Florida Keys.
